Course Outline:
- The workshop will be helpful to those considering developing a research project in an applied health and social care setting and will describe the RfPB funding stream, such as who can apply, what types of research are covered by the scheme, the value of the grant, and the application process itself.
Who should attend:
- NHS staff and researchers interested in applying for funding within Kent, Surrey, Sussex.

- Introduction to 'Research for Patient Benefit' funding, local experiences and local resources.

About the trainer:
- Annette King is the Kent lead for the RDS in the South East. Annette has a background in health and social care research and has worked in a variety of settings in social policy and health research and policy, including universities, government and the NHS.
