Kate Bennett Eastley
Kate Bennett works as a medical statistician at the Surrey Clinical Trials Unit and RDS SE. She has many years experience working as a medical statistician in both epidemiology and clinical trials and has worked on a number of clinical trials across a range of disease areas, including hepatology, gastronenterology, and ophthamology. She was the study statistician on the EPICure studies; cohort studies examining the effects of extreme prematurity on developmental outcomes to adulthood. She has been involved at all stages of trial design and delivery, from funding applications, through protocol development and trial set-up, to end of trial and dissemination of results. She has provided statistical advice and analysis in a consultancy role for a variety of other research projects, including small animal interventional studies, in clinical areas such as neonatology and neuroscience.
