Dr Wenjing Zhang
Dr Wenjing Zhang joined the Kent RDS SE team in June 2020 as a Research Adviser. She is a Research Assistant at CHSS (Centre for Health Services Studies), University of Kent. Her research expertise and interests focus on health and social care, ageing and comparative and international social policy. With experience using both qualitative and quantitative methods over 9 years studying the health and social care sector, Wenjing has worked on policy- and practice- oriented research projects. She currently works on the projects ‘Identifying and improving the capacity of health service staff to conduct research’ (CRUK) and ‘Realist Evaluation of Autism ServiCe Delivery (RE-ASCeD)’ (NHSE). Prior to joining the University of Kent, Wenjing worked as a Lecturer and Teaching Associate (2016-2019) and a Research Associate (2018-2019) at the University of Bristol. She was involved in the projects including ‘Creating Inclusive Care Home Environments for Older LGBT+ People’ (ESRC), ‘Information and Guidance for Unpaid Family Carers: Reviews of Local Authority Websites in England’ (NIHR School for Social Care) and ‘Death Talk and Loss Talk in an Age of Longevity’ (Elizabeth Blackwell Institute for Health Research).
